What We've Heard: Transportation

The Redwood City community identified numerous transportation elements that they would like to see addressed or included in the future use of the Saltworks site. These transportation priorities, as indicated by local residents, include:

Addressing the jobs/housing imbalance through transportation solutions
Creating a new Water Transit System
Improving access to areas East of Highway 101
Reducing congestion on Highway 101
Developing new Public Transit Connections to Downtown
Expanding bike and pedestrian access
Creating new, improved passenger rail service

OUR COMMITMENT: Create a plan that is inclusive of significant transportation infrastructure that provides connections to Downtown Redwood City and access to major employment centers.
