The DMB Redwood City Saltworks community-based planning process has relied on local residents who want a better future the more than 1,400 acre industrial property. More than 10,000 Redwood City residents have embraced this process and provided the Saltworks team with clear direction to create a balance of uses that will offer significant public and environmental benefits.

The process included a citizen planning workshop series, where residents got the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and contribute directly to a community-based plan. The resulting plan for the site will reflect the goals and priorities of the local community.
